Part-time Non-CDL Van Driver

Garfield Heights is looking to hire a driver  to deliver meals from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm, Mondays to Thursdays.  Must be physically capable of lifting 15 pounds and capable of getting in and out of a car or van repeatedly to deliver meals and have a good driving record.

Lifeguard & Part-Time Seasonal Grass/Landscaping
 
Lifeguard — Have you ever thought about becoming a lifeguard? It's a great summer job! The recreation department is looking for lifeguards for the upcoming 2017 summer season. To become part of our team you must be American Red Cross Certified. Those that are certified and have experience will have preference in the selection process. If you're considering becoming a lifeguard, we can direct you into obtaining your certification.

Part-time seasonal grass/landscaping -  for this opening you must be 18 years or older. This is a great opportunity for the college student home for the summer, or high school graduate. Experience with commercial lawn mowers & landscaping equipment is a plus. Seasonal - beginning in May.

Part-time, Seasonal School Guards

Garfield Heights is looking to hire part-time, seasonal school guards.  Hours are from 7:00 – 9:00 am & 2:00 – 3:00 pm Monday thru Friday.  Pay rate is $9.85 an hour. 

Applications can be picked up and dropped off at the Records Department at the Garfield Heights Police Department between the hours of 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday.

Accepting Lateral Transfers

The Garfield Heights Fire Department will be accepting lateral transfers of Ohio Certified Firefighter Level 2 / Ohio Certified Paramedics. You must have current State of Ohio certifications and at least one year of experience as a Firefighter/ Paramedic. Starting salary level and benefits will start at Third Class.
