The Dan Kostel Swimming Pool
This Olympic size “L” shaped swimming pool was built in 1969, and holds 330,000 gallons of water.
It begins with 2ft. of water on our shallow end and is 12 ft. on the deep end, complete with 2 diving boards.
Adjacent to the pool is a fenced in “kiddie pool” for children 5 and under, complete with small canopy and seating for the parents.
The large pool is heated, so the water temperature is always around 81 degrees or warmer, when the outdoor temperature reaches higher.
It is the largest outdoor heated pool in the state of Ohio.
The swimming pool always opens when the school year is over, usually the second week of June and closes when school begins, at the end of August.
This is the 5ft. end of our L shaped pool. In the background you can see
our new “Poolside Gazebo” which is available by permit for semi-private
pool parties. Gas grill is available upon request. Guests will receive wrist
bands and will be able to swim and enjoy privacy while picnicking in the
fenced in gazebo area.
