Christmas in July 2023

The Annual Christmas in July event at the Dan Kostel Rec Center pool went off without a hitch even though a few raindrops fell during the event on Saturday July 29^th.

Fun was had by all in attendance with the swim races, hula, limbo & splash contests. Santa came with his big black bag full of toys (compliments Jason Seither Ward 3) for all the little ones in attendance, balloons were twisted by “Snickers” the balloon twister!

Our 2 big winners of the bikes donated by Mayor Matt Burke were: Quetta Lee age 5 and who is a first grader at the Smart Academy & Jannalee Ramirez 10 years old who is homeschooled, both residents of Garfield Heights. Many other gift certificates were raffled off to all in attendance.
